Tom Pieciak is a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist specializing in genre-bending composition. Trained in jazz and improvised music, Tom’s eclectic writing style is influenced by the soul and instrumentation of folk music, both past and present, but combines it with the sensitivity and collaborative spirit of improvised music. Drawing from the natural wold and the land around him, Tom’s music is deeply rooted in the experiences we have in nature and the clarity is can provide. Sleeping Trees is the amalgamation of Tom’s musical stylings, a six piece alternative folk ensemble based in Bloomington, IN.
